Hi, yesterday afternoon I got the DSC Not Available followed by Restricted Performance, after switching off the engine and restarting it went away, however this morning the same thing happened, which again an engine off and back on again cured it, it appears to run ok, anyone any idea where to look Jaguar. Jaguar repair problems? - restricted performance . was displayed in my 2.7 deisel istopped the car and have not been able to start it since the recovery EGR valves and MAF sensors 2.7 diesel. for the last week I have had ‘restricted performance’ message on the dashboard and on plugging in the icarsoft I’m getting the fault code P140A, EGR sensor C- circuit low and P140E, EGR position sensor C min/max stop perfromance. On tickover it sounds as if a piece of paper is attached to the fan belt. Honestly these 2.7 engines have a specific fault causing engine oil in servo. Maybe if the engine is shut down with foot on brake or something. Or brake pressed with engine off.
