Maximum speed. Someone who totally isn't me had a chance to attempt a max speed run on their 2016 st (bone stock besides k and n filter) and has never had this vehicle above 135mph. It was my understanding these cars are governed to 155mph but someone who definitely isn't me noticed the car got hung around 149mph.
The speed sensor is located on the transmission on top of where the axles come out of it. It's a tight spot to get to. I forget how it's driven I wanna say it's just a hall sensor or something like that like the crank sensor. Check the wires on it to see if they got pulled out somehow. If you ever removed the gauge cluster then I would check

12175 posts · Joined 2019. #11 · Jan 20, 2021. @sttwoton your vehicle has DDS (deflation detect system) that does not use tpms sensors. It uses wheel speed sensors to detect a low tire. AkA indirect TPMS.I have converted mine to DDS because i run winter wheels without sensors.
